Obituary of Annie Mize
Mary Ann “Annie” Mize passed away peacefully on February 4th, 2024 at 83 years old. The oldest of nine children, she was born in Covington KY to German immigrants Frederick “Fritz” and Mathilde “Tillie” Schuhmacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Frances “Bink” Silbernagel, brother, Fred Schumacher, and beloved grandson Ryan Bowman. She is survived by her children, Richard (Carla) of Hebron, Lori Bowman of Independence, grandchildren Sara (Tim), Emily (Corey), Katie, Danielle, and Richard Jr., great grandchildren Mckenzie, Connor, Kaylee, Carson, Remo, Alexis (Spencer), Timmy, and Kade, two great great grandchildren, siblings Rev. Annie graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1958. She spent her career as a telephone operator at AT&T. A proud democrat, she spent her life dedicated to causes important to her, including the Communications Workers of America Union. The only thing bigger than her personality was her ability to love her family and friends in her own special ways. Annie left an impact on every person she met. May her memory and the joy and laughter it brings continue to be a blessing to those who loved her.
