Obituary of Richard Dale Garn

Richard Garn, age 83, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood on February 19, 2024. He was born in Bradner, Ohio on September 20, 1940; the son of Leonard and Myrtle (Jacobs) Garn. He graduated from Pemberville High School, joined the Air Force immediately after graduation, and served his country for 25 years. After serving in the Airforce, he continued to work for the Department of Defense for thirteen years, followed by seven years working for the State Department.

He is survived by his wife, Nilda. She loved him so much and he was the love of her life. Others left to cherish his memory are his sisters Caroline (Rodger) Cochran and Marilyn (David) Wilson and a brother, Herbert (Jane Ann).
