EJ Mullins Obituary

EJ Mullins, 70, passed away on March 30th, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas Hospital. He was a resident of Burlington, KY and retired from BlueLinx after a career as a fork-lift driver. EJ was a veteran with the U.S. Army and after serving many years as an active duty soldier, he went on to be a reservist.

To those who knew him best, EJ was an outgoing and outspoken “wild child” who had no problem telling you like it was. He was an enthusiast and collector of G.I. Joes and was proud of his personal collection of vintage toy soldiers and toy cars.

Along with his parents, Oscar and Doris Mullins, EJ is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mullins; his partner, Ethel Damron; and sister, Shirley Ann Mullins.

He is survived by his stepmom, Diana Mullins; daughters, Tammy (Richard) Partin and Elizabeth Huddleston Mullins; his brothers, Darriel (Lela) Mullins and Rob (Donna) Mullins; grandchildren, Desirea (Mar’Quelle) Mullins, Mary Mullins, Michael Partin, and Matthew Partin; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

At this time, there will be no formal services held for EJ. If you would like to share a memory or leave an online condolence, please visit the corresponding tabs on this page.
