Othia Horn, 74, of Florence, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side. Othia was born in Richmond, KY on April 19, 1949. A proud veteran, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a part of the 101st Airborne Division. After completing his military service, Othia went on to work for Klosterman’s Bakery and retired after 40 years of baking. Othia was a loving father and was known for his calm and patient nature with people. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved children, April Bates, Thomas Horn, and Elise Turner; the mother of his children, Kathy Horn Wood; brothers Randall and Jerry Horn; sisters Caroline Shaefer, Janice Horn, and Brenda Fillhardt; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Morgan.
