Obituary of Patricia G. Martin Ziegler

Patricia G. Martin Ziegler, age 80, of Edgewood, KY, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY.  She was a retired Buyer for U.S. Shoe and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY.  “Pat” loved to spend time with her family and dote on her grandchildren, especially cooking for them.  Her chicken and dumplings and desserts were mouth-watering.  Pat was a humble lady who dearly loved those closest to her, enjoyed watching the UK Wildcats, and loved to fish!  She is survived by her loving husband, of forty-three years, Jerome R. Ziegler; children, Michael Cook (Traci), Angie Davis; and Dawn Jones (Larry); sister, Sue Bradshaw (Joe); sister-in-law, Mabel Martin; grandchildren, Abigail Jones (Breonna Deaton), Paul Jones, Valerie Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Jeremy Davis, Emma Cook, Samantha Cook, Ethan Jones, C.J. Cook, Hunter Jones, and Mia Jones; and great grandchild, Ronin Jones.  Pat’s parents, Arthur and Georgia Carpenter Martin, and brother, Gary Martin, all preceded her in death.  Visitation for Pat will be Saturday, April 20^th, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with her funeral service immediately following at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church Chapel, 3711 Tibbatts Street, Covington, KY 41015.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery in Covington, KY.  Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.  For directions, to view her Life Tribute Video or to send the family a message of condolence, please go to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
