Mark was always the life of the party. He was always bringing a smile to my face . My bingo buddy. He always made you feel special and that he cared about you . Mark was a wonderful man and his love for Tina was so special. I’ll miss you my dear friend -Yolanda
My name is Harry Hallbauer, married to his sister Denise. Mark's sisters, Paula and Lois brought him along in the summer of "76"to visit at McGuire AFB, NJ, where I was station. We had a good time showing them around New Jersey. After a week they decided to leave, Mark asked if he could stay longer, so he did. Denise and I decided to trade our "75" Chevy Malibu in for a "76" MGB. Long story short, I taught Mark how to
drive a stick in that very car. Mark and I
wore Cathats and smoked cigars while
driving around the base and off base.
Denise caught Mark doing donuts in the
officer club parking lot, which was
accross from our base house. What a sight!.
The loss of Mark, a beacon of humor and kindness in our lives, is deeply felt. His presence always brought delight to our days at the BP whenever he would stop for lunch or his evening Miller Lites. His thoughtfulness radiated consistently, making him an effortless companion who easily uplifted spirits. The memory of this remarkable man will indeed be missed.
