Obituary of Matthew Wayne Hubbard
Matthew Wayne Hubbard of Highland Heights, age 36, passed away tragically on Sunday April 14, 2024, in a heart-breaking motorcycling accident. He was a cherished father, a masterful tattoo artist, and a deeply compassionate soul. Matthew’s sudden departure left a profound emptiness in the lives of his family and friends. His vibrant spirit and hopeful dreams linger, reminding us of the passionate and loving person he was, inspiring us to embody his warmth and generosity.
Matthew was not just an artist; he was an artisan of happiness, leaving lasting impressions on the skin and hearts of those who had the fortune of knowing him. Each tattoo he crafted was a story of its own, a permanent testament of his dedication to his craft and his love for expression through art. His passions were not limited to his art; he was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, a symbol of his love for freedom and adventure. Above all, Matthew’s heart belonged to his children They were his entire world. He constantly strived to be the best father he could be, actively working to better himself for their sake right up until the time of his passing. Though he faced personal challenges, Matthew recently embarked on a journey of transformation, driven by his immense love for his children and his desire to make a positive impact on the world. He was courageously fighting to overcome his struggles, showing us all what resilience looks like.
Matthew is preceded in death by his daughter, Sophia Mira Grace Hubbard.
He is survived by his father, Lawrence and Keli Hubbard; his mother, Pamela {Turner} Hubbard; beloved children, Chloe, Matthew, Jr., Wyatt, Mason, Miabella, Maddie, Nino, Tino, and Milania; siblings, Christina, Gabriel, and Noah; step-father, Mark Arts; and his fiance, Ashley Dezarn; as well as many other relatives and close friends who will cherish his memory.
A celebration of life will be held for Matthew on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lakeside Christian Church, 195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY 41017.
