Marjorie Zimmerman, 91, peacefully passed away at home on May 9th, 2024, surrounded by her family in Burlington, KY. She was a loving wife and mother who was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Harold. She was a caring and supportive mother dedicated to her family; sewing costumes, window treatments, and clothes; surprising family with a home cooked meal; and hosting the annual holiday gatherings. She most enjoyed playing card games, dominoes, and working puzzles with her children and grandchildren. The family still struggles to master her ability to keep poinsettias thriving for years. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a special and cherished place in our hearts.
Marjorie is survived by her children; Karen (Tony) Elliot, Sandy (Tom) Enzweiler, Karla (Norb) Goessling, and Jim (Donna) Zimmerman. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Mary Queen of Heaven Roman Catholic Church, 1150 Donaldson Hwy., Erlanger, KY, 41018. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 noon at the church. Following the Mass, Margie will be laid to rest at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery, in Florence, KY.
