Kenneth Ray Hicks, 73, of Demossville, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 19, 2024 at his residence. The son of Carlo Hicks and Edna [Fields] Hicks, he was born in Covington, KY on July 27, 1950.

Kenny was a beloved husband to Brenda Carmack Hicks; a dear dad to Tony (Sarah) Hicks, Jessica (Chris) Holliday, Missy Hicks (Tony Ollinger), Shannon (Brad) Stephens, and Jimmy (Maggie) Carmack; treasured brother to Spurgeon Hicks and Laverne Berkemeier; and adored grandpa to Dalton (Mauri) Holliday, Skyler Holliday, Ashton Holliday, Katie Hicks, Alex Chambers, Mason Hicks, Morgan Hicks, Chloe Carmack, Abby Stephens, Tabby Stephens, Kallie Hasson and Jessie Carmack as well as a great-grandpa to Zora, Draco, Isaiah and Noah.

A visitation will be held for Kenny on Saturday May 25, 2024 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Friends and loved ones are invited to come and call on the family from 12:00 PM until shortly before the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM. Following the memorial service, Kenny will rest at home with his family. Memorial donations may be made online to the Anxiety And Depression Association Of America  .
