Eve T. McLean-Harris of Erlanger Kentucky, age 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 25, 1955, to the late Anita {Silver} and Paul Turner. Eve was a proud veteran having served in the United States Navy for 10 years. She was a homebody and enjoyed watching HGTV, Hallmark Channel, playing mahjong on the computer, and decorating her home- especially at Christmas time which was her favorite holiday. Eve loved rooting for the New England Patriots, and she loved to collect and shop for new sneakers. Her most favorite role of all was being a grammy to her grandson Liam age 3, whom she absolutely adored. Eve was a wife, mom, grammy, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Morey Turner.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, E. Neal Harris III; her daughters, Molly McLean and Erin (Matt) Oakes; beloved grandson, Liam Oakes; brother, Andy Turner; her dog, Tyson; as well as other extended family members and close friends who will cherish her memory.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042.
