Julia Ann Price, age 87, of Demossville, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Rosedale Green in Covington, KY.  She was born September 28, 1936, and was the youngest child of Ella and Clifford Cavanaugh.  Ann retired as a Mail Carrier for the United States Post Office in Morning View, KY, in 1995, after 30 years of serving rural Kenton County.  At the time, she was awarded the National Safety Council Award for never having an accident on the job.  She was a parishioner at St. Patrick Church in Taylor Mill, KY, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Altar Society.  Previously, she attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Independence, KY and served on the Bereavement Committee.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ella Swetman Cavanaugh; her siblings; Joan Schoborg, Eileen Crotty, Carroll Cavanaugh, and Jimmy Cavanaugh; and her husband, of 63 years, Elmer Price.  Prior to Elmer’s passing, Ann and Elmer enjoyed traveling, camping, and socializing with their friends (especially the “Out the Door in 94” group).  Most of all, Ann enjoyed being a “Mom” and “Granny”, spending time over the holidays cooking her turkey, dressing and green beans, and having Easter Egg hunts for the grandkids.  Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, Mark Price (Nanette), Annette Dollenmayer (Bob), Michael Price (Julie); grandchildren, Sean Aceituno, Micah Price, Ian Dollenmayer (Elaine), Samuel Price (Delaney), Lauren Rubinic (Chris), and Luke Price; and great grandchildren, Elliott William Dollenmayer and Evelyn Rose Price.  Visitation for Ann will be Monday, June 10, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with her Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 6 p.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 3285 Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY 41015.  Her committal service will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Cemetery, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Church.  For directions, to view Ann’s Life Tribute Video or to leave the family a message of condolence, please go to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
