Obituary of Polly Ann Schadler
Our beloved Polly Ann Schadler, a wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, just hours before her 61st birthday. Polly was a beautiful soul who had battled Alzheimer's Disease for over six years prior to making the journey to her heavenly home.
Polly’s devotion belonged to the Lord and her family. She was a member of Belleview Baptist Church where she worshiped and spent a number of years leading the youth group. Polly was the heart of our home and family and brought joy and wisdom into our daily lives. She was wife to her loving husband, Troy Schadler, for 38 years. She also poured her heart into her two daughters, Tabitha Lindner (Christopher) and Hunter Buse (Barrett). One of her greatest joys was her role as “GiGi” to six cherished grandchildren, Kai Lindner, Callum Lindner, Talia Rose Lindner, Koda Lindner, Tinsley Buse, and Bear Buse. The sight of her grandchildren filled her heart and brought a smile to her face even to the end.
Polly loved the life that she and Troy built for themselves on the banks of the Ohio River in Rabbit Hash, KY. She enjoyed watching the river roll by their home and time spent boating with family and friends on the water. Her passions extended to spoiling her dogs, riding her Tennessee Walker horses, and working in the garden. Her love of gardening motivated her to complete extensive horticultural training to become a certified Master Gardener in 2017. Polly had a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children which led her to substitute teach and volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care.
Polly is survived by her siblings, Janice Geise, Judy Andrew, Kim Kinman, and Glenna Rose. Preceding her in death were her parents, Byron and Glenrose Kinman, brother, Gary Kinman, and sister, Joan Cipra. Visitation for Polly will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following at 6 p.m. at Belleview Baptist Church, 6658 Fifth St., Burlington, KY 41005. Her committal service will be at East Bend Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Belleview Baptist Church, ProKids, www.prokids.org/donate/, or New Day Ranch, www.newdayranch.org/donate.
