Obituary of Marjorie Carolyn Keeney

Marjorie Carolyn Damon Keeney, 72, of Independence, died Wednesday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a retired secretary with Clow Corp. and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Independence. She was a former employee of Western-Southern Life Insurance, Johnson Electric, the Independence Post Office, Kenton County Extension Office and St. Elizabeth Medical Centers. She was a former member of Kenton County Homemakers and a former volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Survivors include her husband, Donald S. Keeney; sons, Clayton W. Keeney of Walton, Stephen C. Keeney of Cincinnati and Barry Damon Keeney of Independence; a brother, David Damon of Murray; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
