Lanny Dixon, Sr., 71, of Walton, KY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Coldspring Transitional Care Center. The son of the late Sherman Louis Dixon and Regina {Kiffmeyer} Dixon, Lanny was born in Covington, KY on June 4, 1953. Lanny graduated from Walton-Verona High School and later went on to meet the love of his life, Darlene {Hocker}, while attending Sherman Full Gospel Church in 1970 and married soon after on June 16, 1972.
In his younger years, Lanny enjoyed his time as the pastor at Glencoe Full Gospel Church where he shared his extensive knowledge and enormous love for God and the Bible.
