Obituary of Judith Anne Clymer
Judith Anne Clymer, age 83, passed from this life to her eternal one with Jesus in Heaven embraced by the arms of family on June 16, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1941 to Ensel Clymer and Anna Gertrude Bargerhuff Clymer in Miami County, IN.
Judy was creative, witty, and adventurous. Always ready to celebrate, she created magic and wonderment in the lives of others. Judy designed elaborate theme parties for her children’s birthdays before they were commonplace. She was a prolific gardener. Judy utilized her excellent cooking, cake decorating, and floral arranging skills to add an extra sparkle to the holidays.
As a mother, Judy coached t-ball and soccer and directed special events as a Girl Scout troop leader. In her golden years, she loved to cheer on her favorite soccer club, FC Cincinnati.
Judy’s ultimate passion in life was travel. Over the course of her life, she visited Israel, Africa, the Brazilian rainforest, the Galapagos Islands, Thailand, Kuwait, as well as ventured to many European countries. She encouraged everyone she knew to experience the joy of travel and expand their world view.
Judy was the beloved mother of Carina Yagodzinski, Christa (Todd) Malton, Mark (Amanda) Yagodzinski, Lori Yagodzinski, Lisa (Mike) Harris, and Monica Yagodzinski. She was the treasured grandma to six amazing grandchildren and the adored great-grandma to three beautiful great-grandchildren, in whom all she imparted a love and appreciation for nature, animals, and the outdoors.
A private visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Directly following Mass, Judy will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery.
