Obituary of Pierce Shouse

Pierce Shouse, 66, of Sparta, died Saturday at Veterans Affairs Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was a construction worker with Champion Windows and Tristate Home Exteriors. A son, Keith Shouse, died in 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Shouse; sons, Leebo Shouse of Sunman, Ind., L.C. Shouse and Boomer Shouse, both of Sparta, and Pierce Shouse II of Falmouth; daughters, Candy Williams of North Carolina, Vickey Marksberry of Glencoe, Tina Long of Sparta and Faith Ferry of Verona; brothers, L.C. Shouse of Florence, Roger Shouse of Belleview and Buddy Mocabee of Elsmere; sisters, Faye Bliton and Alice Shouse, both of Madison, Ind., Alpha Aldridge of Columbus, Ind., and Margaret Childers of Newport; and 15 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glencoe Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hope Lodge, 2806 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
