Obituary of Barbara Ann Leonard

Barbara Ann Hater Leonard, 75, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, passed away on August 3rd, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, OH. She was born on August 5th, 1948, to parents John Hater and Shirley (nee Owens) Hater. She is survived by her son, Donald Leonard Jr. of Ft. Mitchell, KY, siblings Bonnie Hall, Brenda Hater, and Robert "Butch" Hater, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  

Barbara was known for her sweet tooth - she loved ice cream and pastries and enjoyed cooking breakfast for her family. She loved to watch football and was a fan of both the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Shirley Hater, siblings Betty Raines and Beverly Hater, and a niece, Stephanie Monterosso.     

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to Barbara on August 15th, 2024, from 10:00 am until time of her prayer service at 12:00 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Her burial will follow at Independence Cemetery.
