Obituary of Lois Gibbs

Lois Carlisle Gibbs, 81, of Union, died Saturday at her home.
She was a former researcher with the Internal Revenue Service and a member of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church. She was an airport ambassador with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and a member of Bradford Lodge No. 123 F&AM and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, John R. Gibbs, died in 1991.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela Hutchinson of Cincinnati and Patti Brown of Union; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
