Mitchell “Mitch” McIntosh, Jr. of Richwood, KY, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. He was born in Covington, KY on March 14, 1949, grew up in Piner, KY, and attended Simon Kenton High School.  Mitch was a Vietnam veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966-1972.

Mitch built a remarkable career over 30 years in the high-end decorative hardware industry, earning the trust and respect of clients across country music, sports, and other fields. Known for his dedication and attention to detail, he collaborated with some of the most recognized names, leaving his mark on countless homes and projects.  With his career spanning three decades, Mitch became a trusted figure in high-end decorative hardware, known for his knowledge, integrity, and the quality of his work.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, hiking, playing cards, walking his dogs, and cooking big breakfasts for his whole family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nannie {Sebastian} McIntosh, Mitchell McIntosh, Sr., and by his brothers, Michael McIntosh and Anthony Wayne McIntosh.

He is survived by his loving wife, Malinda “Mindy” McIntosh; his children, Mitchell Brian (Rebecca) McIntosh, Steven James McIntosh, James Allen (Michelle) McIntosh, Kim (Gus) Artavia, and Stacey Meredith Erickson; his siblings, Delores (Michael) McHargue, Dennis McIntosh, and Daniel (Jackie) McIntosh; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandkids, great-grandkids, and a multitude of friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon.
