Obituary of Patricia C. Adams

Patricia C. Wertel Adams, 71, of Walton, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a retired self-employed housekeeper and a member of St. Timothy Church, Union. Her husband, Ray Adams, and a son, Charlie Adams, both died in 2005. Survivors include sons, Mark Adams of Union, and Samuel M. Ryan and Carl W. Ryan, both of Walton; a daughter, Ann Ryan of Florence; brothers, Carl Wertel of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Leo Wertel of Hampton, Va.; sisters, Mary Waligorski of Neceedah, Wis., Mary Smits of Atlanta, Kathleen Smits of Monmouth, Ore., and Diane Naigow of Brown Deer, Wis.; and two grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will be at Northern Kentucky Crematory, Walton. Memorials are suggested to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2300 Wall St., Suite H, Cincinnati, Ohio 45212.
