Obituary of Courtney Leigh Perry
Courtney Leigh Perry, 35, of Alexandria, KY, passed away suddenly at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Friday, December 27, 2024. The daughter of Susan Collins (the late Mel Collins) and Bobby Perry, Courtney was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 7, 1989. Courtney was an avid reader and enjoyed reading all sorts of books. Cassandra Claire, Nora Roberts, and J.K. Rowling were just a few of her all-time favorite authors, but her most loved book series was of course, Harry Potter! When Courtney wasn’t reading a novel, she was writing one of her own. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Purrfect Day Cat Café and listening to music; although she had a wide range of music that she would listen to, her most loved artist is by far Michael Buble . An adventurer at heart, Courtney has traveled to many countries including England, Germany, and Ireland and was looking forward to her next trips around the world. Courtney will be sorely missed by her family, especially her nieces and nephews whom she held close to heart, she truly was a wonderful Aunt.
Courtney will be deeply missed by her parents, Susan Collins and Bobby Perry; stepmother Terri Kemerly; siblings Amber (Rick) Masters, Jarod (Melissa) Collins, Matt (Dana) Collins, Jenn Moellman, Jess Harmon, and Tara Perry; paternal grandmother Juanita Clark; nieces and nephews Brennan, Morgan, Amelia, Jacob, Jae, Finlay, Nathan, Phoenix, Alexander, Carson, Collin, Hayley, Logan, Isaac, and Soloman; her cats Kylo, Kit, and Flynn; her dog Poppy; and many aunts, uncles, and other close family and friends.
