William Howard Damron, Jr. of Independence, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in the comfort of his home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Huntington, West Virgina on February 9, 1963, and was a United States Army veteran. Bill retired as a mechanic and enjoyed spending his free time fishing.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Jean {Banks} Wilson; father, William Howard Damron, Sr.; and his wife, Lisa {Evans} Damron.

Survivors include his son, William Howard Damron III; stepdaughter, Tosha Ward; siblings, David Damron, Tina Damron, Mike (Christi) Damron, Debbie (Marty) Gorton, and Sherri McClannahan; grandchildren, Michael Evans, King Damron, Gavin Price, and Sammy Jo Benninger; 18 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and nephews; as well as several other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Bethel Baptist Church, 1862 St. Johns rd. Crescent Springs, KY 41017.
