Obituary of Dennis Wade Bowling

Dennis Wade Bowling, 72, of Independence, KY, passed suddenly at his home on Sunday, January 5, 2025.  Born on July 20, 1952 in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Hargis Bowling, Sr. and Martha [Howard] Bowling.

Dennis was the beloved dad of Laura (Jeremy) Holbrook and David (Diana) Bowling; dear brother to Teresa (Michael) Mulligan, Beverly Bowling and Paula Bowling, dear brother-in-law to Barb Bowling; treasured grandpa to both Hunter and Hailey and adored uncle to Kelly and Erin.

A celebration of life which will be held for Dennis at the convenience of the family in early spring at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY, 41051. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind. Directly following this time of visitation there will be military funeral honors, also at the funeral home. Following services, Dennis will be laid to rest alongside family at Independence Cemetery, 5358 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Please check back soon for further details.
