Obituary of Mattie Fletcher

Mattie Smallwood Fletcher, 82, of Florence, formerly of Ryland Heights, died Wednesday at her daughter's residence in Lakeside Park. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Harrison Fletcher, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, James O. Fletcher of Carthage, Tenn.; daughters, Ellen Ball of Taylor Mill, Catherine Roth and Kim Bajwa, both of Demossville, Ruby Malott of Lakeside Park, and Mildred Rose of Latonia Lakes; brothers, Bill Smallwood of Independence and Daniel Smallwood of Covington; a sister, Oma Burton of Miamisburg, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
