Obituary of Charles Edward Atkins

Charles Edward "Buck" Atkins, 68, of Walton, died Wednesday at his residence.
He was a retired abrasive applications engineer from Cincinnati Milacron, a member of Walton First Baptist Church, and a board member of the Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife, Annetta "Jean" Elliott Atkins; daughters, Christa Atkins Sipple of Burlington and Sherri Atkins Miller of Walton; and a sister, Patricia Ledford of Florence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Walton First Baptist Church, 47 S. Main St., Walton, Ky. 41094; or American Cancer Society, 6612 Dixie Highway, Suite 2A, Florence, Ky. 41042.
