Obituary of Mary Helen Cook

Mary Helen Cook, 75, of Independence, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Covington. Her husband, Robert Newton Cook Sr., preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Robert Cook Jr. of Morning View and Pat Cook of Independence; a daughter, Donna Pickens of Crittenden; a sister, Agnes Rogers of Walton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. No services or visitation are scheduled. Mrs. Cook's body was donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling the arrangements.
