Obituary of Peter Joseph McElhinney

Peter Joseph McElhinney, 63, of Independence, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a surgical assistant and scheduling coordinator with St. Elizabeth Medical Centers.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Davis McElhinney; daughters, Tina Lynn McElhinney of Crescent Springs and Lori Jean Hensley of Independence; brothers, William Thomas McElhinney Jr. of Fort Thomas, Robert McElhinney of Hudson, Ohio, and Mark McElhinney of Dayton; a sister, Ann McElhinney Kirlin of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and a grandson.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 4 p.m. Friday. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum, Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014; or the charity of the donor's choice
