Obituary of Nancy Pickett

Nancy M. Pickett, 86, died Saturday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a former salesperson for Eggleston Maynard Sporting Goods and Covington Camera Shop. She also was a member of Independence Christian Church and a former member of the Independence Fire Department Auxiliary. Her husband, Paul Pickett, died in 1997. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Pickett; stepdaughters, Virginia Salyers and Paula Jean England; stepsons, William and Richard Holiday; two grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, with service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
