Obituary of Walter Bailey Dyer

Walter B. "Tony" Dyer, 64, of Elsmere, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a retired color technician from Aristech, Florence, a member of Elsmere Baptist Church, a charter member of Florence Rescue, and a volunteer with St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Dyer; sons, Daron Dyer of Covington and Scott Dyer of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Michelle Rex of Covington; a stepson, Kevin Sandrock of Alpine, Tenn.; brothers, Leon Harry Dyer of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Dyer of Lynn, Texas, and Wendell Dyer of Hebron; a sister, Barbara Ball of Independence; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Elsmere Baptist Church, 250 Garvey Ave., Elsmere, Ky. 41018.
