Obituary of Beulah Carnes

Beulah Myrtle Carnes, 96, of Florence passed away Saturday January 7, 2012 at Colonial Gardens. She was a member of Elsmere Baptist Church and the Women's Auxiliary VFW post # 6423, a Kentucky Colonel, and she loved animals and dancing. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 1981; her son Thomas Carnes; grand-daughter Christina Carnes; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include her sons, Terry (Debbie) Carnes of Florence and Ronald (Angie) Carnes of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren Thomas Carnes of Florence, Samantha Somers of Carefree, AZ, Beth, Mary Ann, Marty; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday January 12, 2012 from 11AM to 1PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Funeral service will be Thursday January 12, 2012 at 1PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Independence cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Elsmere Baptist Church, 250 Garvey Ave Elsmere, KY 41018.
