Obituary of William Austin Crisp

William Austin Crisp, 88, of Independence, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a meter service technician retired from former Cinergy, an Air Force veteran of World War II, and a member of Tri-County Baptist Church, West Chester, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, Clara Jones Crisp; sons, Don Crisp of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Ron Crisp of Independence; a brother, Carl Crisp of New Castle, Ind.; a sister, Stella Flynn of Stearns; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at noon Monday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
