Obituary of Russell Gene Roberts

Russell Gene Roberts, 78, of Independence, died Saturday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Cincinnati.
He was a retired shop foreman with Kenton County Schools, a member of Disabled American Veterans and Masonic Lodge No. 220 F&AM, and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. A son, Tommy Roberts, died in 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lee Roberts; a son, Mike Roberts of Villa Hills; six stepchildren and three granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
