Obituary of Danny Zornes

Dan W. Zornes, 47, of Newport, died Saturday at his home.
He was an ironworker, a member of Iron Workers Union Local No. 44 in Cincinnati and a member of the Army Reserves.
Survivors include his wife, Donna M. Myers Zornes; sons, Dan Zornes Jr. and Joey Zornes, both of Newport; a daughter, Laura Zornes of Newport; his mother, Theresa Hanlon of Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister, Lisa Barnes of Union; and a brother, David Zornes of Independence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation begin there at noon Thursday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.
