Obituary of Allen Ponder

Alan Scott Ponder, 50, of Independence, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a former machine operator with Hopple Plastics and a musician.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Scott Ponder of Independence; a daughter, Danielle Renee Ponder of Independence; his mother, Elsie Baker Ponder of Independence; brothers, Gary Wright Ponder of Covington and Brent Edward Ponder of Walton; and a sister, Tammi Kay Ponder of Walton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Community Pentecostal Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Ky. 41076.
