Obituary of Richard Lord Briggs

Richard Lord Briggs, 60, of Fort Mitchell, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a former engineer aide with the Kentucky Department of Transportation and a member of Erlanger Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Elizabeth Briggs; a son, Jeremy L. Briggs of Alton, Ill.; a daughter, Nellie Kathryn "Katie" Briggs of Fort Mitchell; and brothers, Charles Briggs of Nicholasville, Lindsey Briggs of Georgetown, William Briggs of Florence, and Robert Briggs of Union.
Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 4:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
