Obituary of Mary Katherine Gleason

Mary Katherine Ayres Gleason, 68, of Chipley, Fla., formerly of Morning View, died Friday at Panama City, Fla. She was a retired cemetery and real estate salesperson.
Her husband, Jerry Gleason, and a son, David Gleason, preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Donald Kaiser of Morning View, Jeff Gleason of Dufuniak Springs, Fla., and Billy Gleason of Panama City Beach, Fla.; daughters, Kathy Bridges of Panama City Beach, Fla., Jeanie Grantham of Orlando, Fla., and Patty Gleason of Chipley, Fla.; a brother, Jimmy Conway of Covington; a sister, Gussie "Red" Combs of Morning View; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Independence.
