Obituary of Mildred Rust

Mildred May Fisk Rust, 85, of Independence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth North Hospice, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence.
Her husband, Ellis Lee Rust, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Myron Lee Rust of Walton; daughters, Diana Kilpatrick of Florence and Vernice Black of Walton; brothers, Wayne Fisk of Piner and Norman Fisk of Fiskburg; sisters, Alice Glass of Independence and LaVerne Baker of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, Ky. 41017.
