Obituary of William David Knox

William "Pops" Knox, 66, of Santa Fe, N.M., died Wednesday at Mainland Medical Center, Texas City, Texas. He was a vice president of Knox Concrete Industries, a meat market manager and railroad switchman.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Knox; a son, Keith Knox of Santa Fe; a sister, Angela Wainscott of Cincinnati; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Independence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Memorials are suggested to Child Rescue Network, 1517 E. Robinson St., Orlando, Fla. 32801.
