Obituary of Edward Smith

Edward E. Smith, 82, of Burlington, died Thursday at Hospice of the Bluegrass-Northern Kentucky, Fort Thomas. He was a meat cutter retired from the Kroger Co., a farmer and a member of Bullittsville Christian Church and Boone-Union Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Elam Smith; a daughter, Deborah Stidham of Burlington; a son, Marc A. Smith of Burlington; and two grandchildren.
No services are planned. Cremation will be at Northern Kentucky Cremation Service. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
