Obituary of Marian R. Bergman

Marian R. Tanner Bergman, 75, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood.
She was a branch manager for Star Bank; member of St. Cecilia Church, Independence; Irish Rovers; Prime Timers; Independence Senior Center; and St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Her first husband, John Richter, died in 1975; a daughter, Donna Leffler, died in 1985.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Bergman; daughters, Barbara Klotz, Jackie Palumbo, Joan Heinrich and Marlene Smothers; sons, Joe, Ken and Gerry Bergman; sisters, Irene Miller, Dorothy Cole and Jeanne Burns; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. todayand Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Cecilia Church. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
