Obituary of Roberta Coots

Roberta Sinkhorn Coots, 78, of Morning View, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Pentecostal Church, Independence, and its In-Touch Ministry. Survivors include her husband, Elbert Coots; sons, Wayne Coots of Williamstown, Gary Coots of Morning View, Gerald Coots of Crittenden, and Daryl Coots of Grassy Creek; daughters, Judy Cox, Darlene Tankersley, and Monique Stull, all of Morning View; a sister, Alma Souleyrette of Florence; 23 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
