Obituary of Robert E. Stevens

Robert E. Stevens, 78, of Independence, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a retired maintenance worker with Rotex Inc., Cincinnati, and an Army veteran. His wife, Rosemary Flannery Stevens, died in 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Russo of DeMossville; a son, Donald Stevens of Walton; a sister, Helen M. McCormack of Cincinnati; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
