Obituary of Aaron J. Smith

Aaron J. Smith, 81, of Florence, died Sunday at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Ind. He was a retired truck driver with OK Trucking Co. and the Kroger Co., a member of Masonic Lodge No. 264 F&AM in Burlington, and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include daughters, Pamel Hammack of Crittenden, Deborah Lee of Rabbit Hash and Joan Stake of Landon, Ohio; sons, Larry Smith of Florence, Garry Smith of Burlington and Gordon Smith of Cincinnati; sisters, Norma Cook of Goshen, Ohio, Janice McSweeney of Laurel, Md., and Ruth Corley of College Station, Texas; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will be at Northern Kentucky Cremation Service, Walton. Memorials are suggested to Masonic Lodge No. 264, 6028 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, Ky. 41005.
