Obituary of Corrine Connie Block

Corrine "Connie" Workman Block, 68, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired Kenton County corrections office and a former Transportation Safety Administration agent at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Her husband, Larry Block, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Danny Block of Florence; a daughter, Connie Block Spencer of Walton; a brother, Malcolm Workman of Yuma, Ariz.; a sister, Ruth Searle of Walton; and four grandchildren. A gathering of friends will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Block residence, Florence. Mrs. Block will be cremated. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling the arrangements.
