Obituary of Dora Mae McCubbin

Dora Mae Lykins McCubbin, 86, of Walton, died Friday at her residence. She was a cook retired from St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington, and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Charles "Wendel" McCubbin, and a son, Gene McCubbin, preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Charlie McCubbin of Florence and Terry McCubbin of Walton; a brother, Vernon Lykins of Independence; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.
