Obituary of James R. Goodman

James R. Goodman, 74, of Independence, died Wednesday at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Ind. He was a retired ironworker, a member of Ironworkers Union Local No. 100 and Walton-Verona Masonic Lodge No. 719 F&AM. His wife, Mary K. Goodman, died in 1992. Survivors include daughters, Rhonda McAdams of Aurora, Ind., and Kimber Matthias of Cincinnati; a son, James R. Goodman III of Taylor Mill; a sister, Margaret Collins of Erlanger; brothers, Howard Goodman and Ival Goodman, both of Dayton, Ohio, and Robert Goodman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
