Obituary of James Douglas Sexton

James Douglas Sexton, 63, of Florence, died Saturday a family member's home in Lawrenceburg, Ind. He was a retired forklift operator with Arvin Meritor and took care of three horses at Turfway Park. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include daughters, Tina Williams and Jamie Sexton, both of Florence, and Nicole Teten of Lexington; his mother, Mae Sexton of Elsmere; sisters, Melanie Sexton of Stanton and Robin Lyons of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; brothers, Bill Sexton of Covington, Pat Sexton of Stanton and Billy Lyons of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; and five grandchildren. Service at 7 pm. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Cremation will be at Northern Kentucky Crematory.
