Obituary of Judith Ann Lucas

Judith Ann Nehring Lucas, 67, of Independence, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association. Survivors include her husband, Jim Lucas; sons, Doug Lucas, Tony Lucas, Paul Lucas and Jason Lucas, all of Independence; a daughter, Terri Lucas Chapman of Independence; a sister, Jane Day of Winter Springs, Fla.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at St. Cecilia Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
