Obituary of Maxine Vance

Maxine Vance, 79, of Florence, died Thursday at her residence. She was a retired factory employee from the Keebler Company and a member of Florence Baptist Church. Her husband, Dennie Vance, preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Gary Vance of Florence and Roy Vance of Bedford, Texas; daughters, Lois Smith of Burlington and Ruth Wermel of Friendswood, Texas; a brother, Pete Campbell of Winchester, 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
