Obituary of Geneva Grey Ward

Geneva Grey Vance Ward, 86, of Erlanger, died Tuesday at her home. She was a former saleswoman with Shillito's department store. Her husband, Harry Russell Ward, died in 1968. A son, Carlos May, died in 2001. Survivors include sons, Bobby Ward of Erlanger, LaVonne Mitchell of Atlanta and Rick Ward of Erlanger; sisters, Imogene Perkins of Dayton, Lucille Reed of Winchester and Marie Fleeman of Crescent Springs; a brother, Bobby Gene Vance of Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at noon Friday. Burial will be in Richwood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, Ky. 41017.
